I’ve Always wanted to be a Graphic Design

I wouldn’t be creating ART if it wasn’t for Ms. Kitty, who was my Art teacher in Elementary School.

Ever since she taught a design class when I was in 5th or 6th grade, I started drawing randomly in my notebooks during class. And when my friends saw my designs, they started asking me to make them their names in Graffiti.

I don’t know about you, but Graffiti to me is Art. Back in the day, it was considered VANDALISM. But there is a huge DIFFERENCE between Graffiti and VANDALISM. But that is a whole other post that I will be making soon but post it on my Portfolio Site.

Back to Graphic Design…

When I was a Senior in High School, I took a class called AP Studio Art with Mr. Jaffe, in this class I learned about photography, editing photos, critiquing artists. I also learned how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. And it was so easy for me, I passed the class with an A.

Ever since then, I’ve been making ART. And I made a business out of it. But I NEVER thought about doing Graphic Design for a Living. I chose to go into Business Administration. I am 4 o 7 classes away from Graduating and getting my Associate in Arts. Is it worth changing my degree?

So I decided to YOLO and start my portfolio without the actual Graphic Design Degree. Maybe I’ll get it in the future or just take a course online.

But anyways… Check out my portfolio by clicking the button below.
