Tips on Working & Studying from Home

I know working and studying from home can be stressful for some of you. So I wanted to share some TIPS that will help you work and study from home and not stress you out. Because I know it can be stressful.

Create a Routine. If you usually work from 6 am to 2 pm, work during those hours. If you are usually at school from 8 am to 4 pm, spend those hours doing school work. And when it comes to eating, try to eat at the same time you usually eat.

Workout. Try to wake up one hour earlier so you can work out. If your kids have a gym or physical education on a specific day, do an activity they would normally do at school in your backyard. If you don’t have a backyard, you can ride bikes around the block. Or workout together.

Get Dressed. Take a shower, brush your teeth, wash your face, and get dressed. Do your make up if you’re a girl. If you stay in your PJ’s all day, you will feel lazy and not do anything. And, you will feel better if you actually get ready.

Have a Workspace that has everything you need. You don’t want to be getting up to get the stuff you need. So make sure you have everything on your desk. Have everything you usually work with on your desk Or your books and notes. Have a glass of water or cup of coffee or tea next to you. If you don’t have a desk, you can use your dining room table too. Or kitchen island, if you have one. You can even work outside if you have a table in your yard.

Have a TODO list. Every night, write down everything you need to do for the next day. Once you have everything written down, highlight three things you must do.

Take a Break. Go for a walk and get fresh air. Being inside ALL DAY is NOT good for your HEALTH. Grab a picnic blanket and go to your backyard and just relax there. Read a book. Eat outside. Go outside and meditate.

Sleep Early. Sleeping early wakes you up early and gives you energy. Sleeping late will just make you tired the next day and you won’t have any energy to do anything.
